Lenovo may be working on two new devices to shake up the portable console market.Accordingly, the company is allegedly working on the Legion Go’s more affordable Legion Go Lite and Legion Go Gen Two.
Lenovo Legion Go Lite and Legion Go Gen Two just leaked
Leaked images have revealed that the Legion Go Lite design is different from the first model. White in color and with rounded lines, the Lite will differ from the angular design of competitors like Legion Go and Asus ROG Ally. This design choice will make the device more ergonomic.
In terms of size, the Legion Go Lite is larger than the ROG Ally, but more compact than the 8.8-inch Legion Go. The screen size is said to be around 7 inches. The smaller screen will increase the portability of the device and reduce costs.
Earlier rumors suggested that the Legion Go Lite could use a low-end AMD processor like the AMD Ryzen Z1. The Legion Go Gen Two, on the other hand, could switch to a next-generation processor like the Ryzen Z2.
In terms of the control layout, leaks have indicated that the standard back-button layout will continue. However, the touchpad found on the Legion Go will not be included in the Lite model. This simplification will lower the price of the device.
Legion Go Lite and Go Gen Two could disrupt the company’s dominance of Steam Deck and ROG Ally in the portable console market.
